If we gave these naff names, this would be ‘The Mayfair’, but we leave that to sofa makers… A nice subtle mix of greens and whites, and the trailing bits cover a multitude of sins on the window ledge. Easy to scale up for long runs. 482

We must have sold thousands of these ‘3 ball boxes’ over the years – it’s a (very) hardy perennial, and still looks good. We’re now on about the seventh generation of leaf, the best yet - and we make them ourselves to any diameter you want, so you don’t end up with muffin-top planting! 481

We used to call this a ‘hipster’ window box, but, like the Triffids, it broke out of Islington and took over the world. So now it’s ‘mixed modern’… It works equally well with all sorts of buildings and looks nice and random, like it’s actually growing. We can also play with the mix of plants, and it scales up nicely for larger window boxes. 480
